Description
This course is intended to provide clear, practical guidance to proponents navigating the Yukon assessment and
permitting landscape, with a focus on quartz exploration projects requiring Yukon Environmental and Socioeconomic
Assessment Board (YESAB) Designated Office-level reviews. The session will be informative and experience-based,
providing attendees with an understanding of how to get started, what information is required, and how to effectively
and efficiently advance approvals. The course will include a case study applying course concepts to a real Yukon
exploration project.
The course is designed as a technical and educational session. The short course will be targeted at junior mining companies, early-stage
exploration proponents, and technical staff or project managers seeking to better understand Yukon assessment
and permitting, with content tailored for participants with limited to moderate experience with Yukon regulatory
processes.
